Guest Contributors
Do you love to write? Are you interested in contributing a guest post to this blog? Your submissions are welcome as long as they adhere to the following guidelines:
- Article must be no more than 850 words in length, and must focus on any of the following subjects:
- Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (your personal memories, personal experiences, revelations, satire);
- Powwows;
- Native American society (clans, history, politics, constitutions, leadership, social affects and influences of gaming, economic development ideology, etc.);
- Spirituality and Native Americans;
- Native American Gaming (casinos, experiences, reviews, laws, etc.);
All inquiries must be sent via email (form provided below) with the writer’s contact information included – name, city and state, return email address and a brief bio (if you have one) and URL (if any, written as “name dot com” format). Do not submit links or attachments because they will not be opened. Send your piece or inquiry within the body of your email, with “BLOG SUBMISSION QUERY” in the subject line of the message. Keep it thought-provoking and “real”, and keep it at a “PG rating”. All submissions will be reviewed and considered, and contributors will be notified via email if their pieces are selected for posting. Best wishes and happy writing!
